Welcome to Restaurant Damier

We prepare dishes with pure ingredients, spontaneity and enthusiasm with a focus on the taste. While doing this we continue our search for delicious local products, which we combine with the lovely flavours of the rest of the world.

The restaurant was rated 13/20 in Gault & Millau.

 

Restaurant Damier

Our chef, is in charge of a young team who brings daily pure, natural and regional dishes in a relaxed atmosphere and a cozy setting.

Our sommelier, who meets passion and knowledge, chooses a fine selection of wines, which are perfectly combined with the dishes from our chef.

DAAN HEBBRECHT, new chef of Hotel Damier.

Daan is inspired by the rich offer of fresh (regional) products.
He likes to spoil both business and private gourmets in a culinary way.

The culinary course of Daan Hebbrecht is versatile and a tad rock'n'roll.
To learn the tricks of the trade, he immediately chose the top.
After a demanding training in 'La Bergerie' in Namur with the Lefevere family, former supplier of royalties, 'Bruneau' followed, for many years, one of the Brussels top restaurants.

The ambitious young man continued his culinary journey at 'De Barrier' in Houthalen, for years one of the gastronomic references in Limburg.
Chef Rik Vandersanden learned Daan to show even more respect for the product.
Finally, he made a detour along the biggest yachts in the world.
As a private chef he was allowed to cook for world stars like Brad Pitt, Elton John, Bill Clinton and Bono of U2!

He now combines all those culinary experiences and savoir faire with success in restaurant Damier

Restaurant

You can reserve a beautiful table from Tuesday until Saturday, as from 7 pm for your dinner.

For groups as from 10 persons, we are happy to create a market menu at € 38.00 per person.

We offer a wide selection of traditional wines.  you can also enoy 'exquisit' wines, always available by the glass.

Discover the different continents through our extensive wine menu. Beside the esteemed classics, you will also find a wide variety of wines per glass.

Together with small, local merchants, which are in direct contact with the wine producers, we try to present a beautifully balanced wine menu.
